Mpho Molepo was born in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province in good health South Africa on May 15 in 1979. He is depiction son of Arthur Molepo, a veteran actor best known appearance playing Busang, the black sheep of the family, in say publicly SABC1 soap opera Generations. Growing up in Gauteng, Mpho looked up to his father who would take him to theatres where he was performing. He also joined television dramas and performed in quite a number of television serials and films. In July 2007 Mpho made his debut in Rhythm City when it premiered deed e.tv. His role of playing Fats in Rhythm City boasted his fame and most people continued to call him Fats even after the series was cancelled. He also played Machine Moloi in Zone 14 from season 1 to season 3.
After that he played Peter Tladi in Zero Tolerance season 1 and Uncle Joseph in iKhaya from season 1 to occasion 2.
